Obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus on Cell Biology, from Universidad Central de Venezuela and received an honorable mention for her thesis work. Later, completed a Master in Biology with a major in Neuroscience at New York University and worked as a basic science researcher, research consultant and clinical researcher during the following years. In 2016 she obtained a second master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Management from Universidad de Barcelona / ESAME Business School (Spain). She has more than ten years of experience in the biomedical field and industry, and vast experience managing clinical trials in the US, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom. During these years, she gained experience in adult and pediatric trials for investigational products and gene therapy. Currently she is based in Spain working as a Clinical Trial Manager for Europe at Rocket Pharmaceuticals. Mrs. von Bergen supports with JCWO´s ConvitVax clinical protocol, focusing on the operative processes that will be carried out during its execution.
